So, friendly. Great food. Reasonable prices too. My favorite food is the Cajun Steak Penne. So, good! They have a good salad bar. Also they have specials every day. The staff and cook Adam are so friendly. If your looking for a cute little diner place. Del's Cafe in St Charles is a good place to eat. They treat you like family.

Extremely rude staff. Would not recommend this place. Went here during prime lunch hour and we were the only people in there, which was quickly obvious as to why no one else was there. I visited this cafe with two other people, and I have a special diet so I brought a couple of bananas to eat, and Carrie, our waitress, was immediately unfriendly to me by telling me to take my stuff off the table and then told me I couldn't eat or drink anything brought into the restaurant from outside. And if I was going to finish my Gatorade it had to be in one of their glasses, I couldn't drink it out of it's bottle. What!? Who cares!? So I did not order anything however the two other people in our party of 3 did order food which they said was "okay" but the portions were small. Then she was very rude to my friend at the end of our visit regarding if he wanted a cc receipt or not. She treated us very poorly and I would not come back here again because of it.

Taco Salad and Roast Beef dinner were excellent. Place is very clean and they offered the salad bar even though this was a take out order. Del's is a very clean friendly place to eat with good food.

Stopped in to hangout with a business colleague, coffee was hot . Chili hit the spot, garlic bread was tasty. Servers were really friendly. I'll be back

I had the BEST pancake here! Tasted almost like a sugar cookie with a bit of a crispy crunch around the edges! It was very good! And the waitress was so nice and funny. I like it when they interact and can make you laugh.

We stopped here during the city wide garage sales and enjoyed it very much. Plenty of seating. Cute decor, clean, comfortable and casual. The staff was very friendly and also quickly and kindly cleaned up our two year old’s spilled milk. The food was quick and very tasty as well. We’ll definitely come back to dine again!

I was traveling cross-country about 4 years ago, moving from New York City to Portland, OR, and a friend and I were looking for a place for a break. We turned off the freeway and came upon a small town and Del's. Del's is the diner of my 90's dreams and reminded me of the way food should be.The service was friendly and our coffee cups were always filled with session coffee, the type you can drink all day and chat away with friends. We had burgers, but the best item on the menu is Del's pies baked on the premises. Go for the pie.

Very nice small town cafe. Service was great. Friendly staff and owner. Food was good and reasonably priced. One great thing is that the place is clean.

Our experience at this small home-town restaurant was very disappointing. The salad bar had old lettuce that needed replenishing. The sandwich was greasy and somewhat meager and did not come with an add-on unless you ordered it separately. French fries were extra. Our waitress was quite rude and when I was paying my bill, she rang me up and walked away before the sale was final. I will never go back to this restaurant!

Del's Sunday Breakfast is Fantastic! Old school feel with great food.

Good food, reasonable. We always stop on our way to eastern Wisconsin. Usually breakfast, sometimes lunch. Very good waitresses. Clean and comfortable.

Excellent food, super service and outstanding prices! Fed the whole extended family with fresh hot chicken, a variety of salads, mashed potatoes/gravy, and biscuits, for 2/3rds of what a national chain charges, and it was close to home!

Their food is amazing! I love the eggs Benedict, and they hav great service! The only thing that I didn’t like, is how soggy the English muffin was. Other than that, it wasn’t bad!

The food here is typically pretty good, and comes at a decent price. Breakfast time is usually pretty busy but orders are served in good time. I've heard lunch and dinner is good too but I haven't been through there at those times in quite awhile.

The Sunday buffet is always a good start to your morning. The pancakes are sweet and the cinnamon rolls are divine. The biscuits and gravy is always another good breakfast must have. The waitress are friendly and spunky! Del's has definitely become a weekly tradition for my boyfriend and me!

Great home cooking restaurant in a small town near Rochester MN. They had a buffet which I felt was not representative of their food but it is hard not have the buffet for the price. It was busy with the local clientele, which is a good sign for a local restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful with answering any questions. The design was from the 60s which adds to the charm.

Classic Main Street Cafe. Comfort food, well prepared, makes for a pleasant meal. I wish I had room for a piece of home made pie, it looked delicious!

Del's was great! Hot fresh coffee, with waitress refills from the coffee maker glass pitcher. I'm not a fan at all of those table top self serve plastic carafes yuck. I had a combo breakfast, hash browns, eggs over med, bacon and pancakes. The bacon was pretty good and the pancakes were really pretty good. Not the plate filler cakes I've been finding in southern WI. These were really good. We may not make back to St Charles for a while but I'd go out of my way to stop again. The restaurant was very clean too.

I had the all you can eat fish. It was fantastic! Perfect gold batter with nice white pieces of fish. I will go again.
